INA, Ill. (May 6, 2025) — º£½ÇÊÓÆµ gave local eighth grade students a glimpse into what their future journey could look like during the Career Connections fair.
Students rotated from booth to booth, learning about potential careers. Employers from Oak Hill Contractors, Franklin County Edge, Banterra Bank, Edward Jones, US Army, Deaconess of Illinois, West City Fire Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Continental Tire, Phoenix Modular, Black Diamond, Family of Businesses Marketing, and King City Property Brokers presented their careers to the eighth graders. Representatives from RLC were also on hand to discuss healthcare, early education, agriculture, automotive technology, culinary arts and other career opportunities.
Schools that came to Career Connections included Bethel, Benton, Ewing-Northern, Field, Grand Prairie, McClellan Sesser-Valier, Spring Garden, St. John the Baptist, Waltonville and Woodlawn.
