RLC celebrates student success at the 2025 Upward Bound Banquet

INA, Ill. (May 13, 2025) — º£½ÇÊÓÆµ's Upward Bound program recently recognized student accomplishments at its 2025 banquet.

At the banquet, students received certificates for participation in the Upward Bound program during the 2024-25 academic year and the 2024 summer program, for earning straight A's, perfect attendance, receiving RLC college credit and many other accomplishments. These certificates were given by Mallory Moddelmog, Director of TRiO programs, and Beth Hoffman, Upward Bound Advisor. Students graduating from high school also received Upward Bound cords to wear at their school's commencements.

The Upward Bound program is a federally funded college program designed to provide academic support, personal and career counseling and cultural and social enrichment to high school participants who have the academic ability to be successful in college. Services are provided at no cost to the student.
