General Information

Cancellation of Classes
Nothing kills a good program faster than waiting until the last minute to register. At some point we have to determine if enrollment is sufficient to hold the class. 海角视频 is a non-profit organization. We try to break-even on classes, at the same time we try to pay our instructors a fair wage for their time. If you are considering taking a class or you wish to show up the first night of class to register, please call and let us know. Otherwise, we must cancel low enrollment classes.
Withdrawal/Refunds
Students in Community Education classes may withdraw and receive a full refund by contacting a 海角视频 Community Education representative at least 5 business days in advance of the first class or 10 business days in advance of a trip. No refunds will be given after that time, but a registration certificate will be issued in your name and MUST be used the following semester. No refunds or certificates will be issued following the first-class session. Please call us if you must cancel a class at 437-5321, ext. 1714 or (800) 369- 5321, ext. 1714.
Course Content
Course content may be altered at the discretion of the instructor(s) and may, in some instances, deviate from the catalog description. We try to be as accurate as possible in describing our classes, but we allow the instructor to teach what they feel is important.
Senior Citizens
In-district residents who are 60 years of age or older qualify as senior citizens for tuition purposes and are entitled to take college credit courses, provided that class has the required number of tuition paying students enrolled, and that the classroom has available space tuition-free. The college reserves the right to use the qualifying age for senior citizen waivers, as dictated by State statute, which is 65 years of age or older for specific programs and departments. This does not include applicable fees charged for credit classes, nor does it include Community Education (COMED or ILR) classes. Senior citizens may be charged a fee of $50 or more for repeating classes more times than credit can be claimed.
Residency
We get many calls from individuals outside of the 海角视频 District regarding out-of-district fees. With Community Education classes, there is no need to worry about being out-of-district. It does not affect your fees nor your attendance. We encourage anyone who has an interest in our classes to attend.
