Outside scholarship opportunities for students in Southern Illinois

INA, Ill. (January 29, 2024)—Funding your education doesn’t have to be stressful! º£½ÇÊÓÆµ is here to help you succeed, which is why we’ve gathered some of the top scholarships you can apply for now that will go towards the Fall 2024 semester.

General Federation of Women’s Club Illinois

A total of $15,000 will be awarded in the areas of: Art, Education, Drama, Music, and Vocational Studies.

Applications (male or female) must be a graduating high school senior, current college student and/or an adult returning to school.

The applicant must be attending vocational school, community college, college, or university located in the state of Illinois.

Applicants must be postmarked by Monday, April 1, 2024.

2024 SIU Credit Union Scholarship

SIU Credit union will again be offering graduating high school seniors enrolling into a two or four-year college; community college students transferring into a four-year university; or adult students returning to college the opportunity to apply for one of ten $1,000 scholarship.

Eligibility requirements and instructions on how to apply are included on the front page of the application.

Crosswalk Community Action Agency (CCAA) Scholarship

The Crosswalk Community Action Agency is awarding scholarships to Franklin, Williamson, Jefferson, and Jackson county recipients. These funds are provided by the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Scholarships range from $1,500 to $4,000.

Each student must meet the list of requirements to be eligible for a CCAA scholarship. Students can obtain a scholarship application by downloading the PDF attachment.

All applicants must be completed by August 1, 2024 and returned to the Crosswalk Community Action Agency, 410 West Main Street, West Frankfort, Illinois 62896.

 

The RLC Foundation also has hundreds of scholarships you can apply to through just one easy application!

The RLCF Scholarship Application will open January 1, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. Priority is given to those who apply before March 1, 2024. Applications close June 30, 2024.
